We are seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer to design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems that power modern applications. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust backend services using Python and FastAPI while ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and code quality. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to design efficient APIs, optimize database performance, and implement scalable architectures that support growing product demands. The position requires strong expertise in backend development, database modeling, caching mechanisms, and cloud-based deployment environments. You will play a key role in building microservices, managing containerized applications, and maintaining automated deployment pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable releases. The role also involves optimizing application performance, improving system reliability, and implementing best practices in code structure and design patterns. Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Build and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL
• Implement caching mechanisms using Redis to improve application performance and efficiency
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend components that support scalable applications
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployment workflows
• Deploy and manage services on cloud infrastructure such as AWS
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment processes
• Optimize application performance by refactoring code and implementing appropriate design patterns
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure code reliability through testing, monitoring, and automated validation processes
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical decision-making

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 8–10 years of experience in backend development with strong expertise in Python
• Proven experience building backend services using the FastAPI framework
• Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and performance tuning with PostgreSQL
• Experience implementing caching strategies using Redis
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices
• Understanding of software design patterns and code refactoring techniques
• Ability to build scalable and maintainable backend architectures
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex development tasks
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile development environments
• Familiarity with chatbot development or AI-related technologies such as LLMs or LangChain is an advantage
