Backend Developer

We are looking for an ambitious Backend Developer to join us! If you are interested in implementing and learning new things in the back-end field, this job may be for you!

NB! Please note that this role is on-site in Tallinn, Estonia. No relocation support or visa sponsorship is provided.

As a (mid-level) Backend Developer @BWT you will::
• Develop and maintain backend logic and server APIs used by frontend application
• Work with cool tech stack: event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka and reactive programming (Spring WebFlux)
• Build reusable code and common libraries
• Collaborate with the backend team to improve the quality
• Participate and provide input during technical discussions

You will be successful in this role when you have::
• Experience with Java, Spring, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes
• Previous experience in working with databases
• Good knowledge about deployment procedures
• Experience working in the iGaming industry (with gaming platforms) is considered a strong advantage
• Understanding of how technologies work together on a larger scale
• Previous experience in working with production environment with real customers
• Ability to implement a task with detailed specification independently and ability to suggest task implementation solutions
• Fluent written and spoken English
