Brief

We’re seeking an experienced Backend Developer to help lead the backend efforts for a high-traffic booking platform. This role combines hands-on software engineering with architectural influence, product ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.

As part of the team, you’ll help build robust, scalable server-side systems using the latest technologies, design efficient APIs, and ensure high performance and reliability to support both internal operations and public-facing services.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain backend services using Symfony

• Build and extend GraphQL APIs for internal and public consumption

• Drive database schema design and performance tuning (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

• Build efficient, secure, and scalable systems

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers working in React

• Integrate workflow automation logic (e.g., using n8n)

• Participate in architecture and technical decision-making

• Contribute to DevOps practices (Dockerization, CI/CD, deployments)

• Mentor engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices
