MET Energy Trading Bulgaria EAD (METBG) was established in 2017 to represent MET Group in South Eastern European natural gas and energy markets. METBG focuses on the purchase and sale of electricity and natural gas to retail and wholesale customers in South Eastern Europe, through cross-border transactions and close corporation with other MET subsidiaries in the region.

Now, we are looking for a "Back Office Specialist" to join our MET Bulgaria team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Back Office Specialist to join our energy trading team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless execution of our trading operations, managing the lifecycle of contracts, and maintaining the integrity of our data systems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between front-office trading activities and financial reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed.

Key Responsibilities

• Data & System Management: Operate and maintain internal software systems to ensure all trading data is accurate. Monitor data flows and troubleshoot discrepancies within the system.
• Trade Validation: Verify and confirm energy trades against counterparty confirmations and exchange reports.
• Contract Administration: Manage contracts with clients and counterparties (EFET, ISDA or custom frameworks). Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• CRM Maintenance: Manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring client data and contact history documentation are up to date.
• Reporting & Analytics: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding trade volumes, portfolio performance, and settlement status.
• Settlement & Invoicing: Coordinate with the Finance department to facilitate the settlement of trades and ensure timely invoices for clients and partners.
• Regulatory Compliance: Assist in fulfilling reporting obligations to regulatory bodies (e.g., REMIT) where applicable.

• Experience: Previous experience in a back-office or middle-office role, preferably within the energy or financial sector.
• Technical Skills: *Proficiency in CRM software and advanced Excel skills.• Familiarity with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system-experience with Open Link Endur is a significant advantage.

• Languages: Excellent command of English (both written and verbal).
• Attributes: High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
