Job Description
CXM is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Back Office Operations Specialist to support and enhance operational processes within the brokerage environment. This role plays a critical function in ensuring smooth coordination across departments, maintaining regulatory compliance, managing financial transactions, and driving continuous operational improvements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, technical proficiency, and hands-on experience within brokerage back-office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective operational solutions.
Coordinate closely with the Risk Department on leverage adjustments, trading escalations, and risk-related matters.
Collaborate with Team Leaders and Sales teams to manage IB-related requests and support network restructuring initiatives.
Liaise with technology providers to resolve complex operational or system-related disputes.
Work with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to investigate and resolve funding-related issues.
Manage and monitor internal ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution of departmental feedback and operational matters.
Perform financial reconciliation and transaction checks within the system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Gather and assess technical information related to client complaints.
Conduct KYC validation and manage the onboarding, amendment, periodic review, and offboarding of clients in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and fraud prevention processes within operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or back-office operations within a brokerage environment.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with high attention to detail.
Advanced technical aptitude and familiarity with brokerage systems.
Meticulous with numbers, processes, and compliance procedures.
Experience preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
Demonstrated ability to follow through on commitments and deliver results.
Prior experience in a stock-broking environment, either within IT or back-office operations, will be considered a strong advantage.
