Back-end Software Developer - Part Time

Egis Projects Philippines Inc (EPPI) provide services to private sector entities involved in the business of building, operating or managing roadways, railways, and other transportation infrastructure projects.

 

As a Back-end Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge software applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our software solutions.

You will be responsible for designing & developing back-end microservices APIs and related business logic. Ideal candidates must have strong proficiency in C#, .net event-driven architecture, MSSQL queries and have proven experience creating REST API consumed by web and mobiles apps. In order to fulfill this role, the candidate must also be an open-minded and creative team player. Good time management and project management skills are a must. 

Duties and responsibilities

• Create and maintain SQL stored procedures, Rest API in C#, .net, and other scripts as needed by the project
• Build reusable components and libraries for future use
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and optimal performance of the software
• Collaborate with other development teams on support and peer code review.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior developers, fostering their skill development and professional growth
• Work closely with clients, Front-end and Back-end team, DevOps and project managers to create strong and effective applications
• Create detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, API documentation, and user guides, ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer within the team.
• Responsible for adhering to best practices in coding, ensuring the quality, maintainability, and efficiency of the code.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development

Required skills and qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C#, .net CORE, and LINQ Entity Framework
• Proficient in SQL programming languages.
• Experience with AWS components (SQS, SNS, Lambda function) and Gitlab CI/CD processes are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent time management and project management skills
• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
