Job Description

This role can be based in Cyprus (office-based) or remotely out of Georgia.

Leveraging a robust API engine, advanced automation, and a scalable architecture, we simplify complex tasks—such as data integration, trading, reporting, and compliance—making them fast, seamless, and accurate for our clients.

We are looking for a Back-End Developer to architect and implement scalable, high-performance server-side applications. You will work closely with our engineering team to build and optimize core backend services that power our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Postgres.

Implement and optimize messaging and event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.

Develop secure, scalable, and high-performing APIs to integrate with front-end applications and third-party services.

Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity using PostgreSQL.

Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment and monitoring pipelines.

Tech Stack:

Backend: Java, Spring, Hibernate, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka, HashiCorp Vault, Go, Python

Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, AG Grid, D3

Cloud: Azure, AWS

Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 3+ years in backend development with expertise in Java and Spring Framework.

Database Knowledge: Strong experience with PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.

Messaging & Event-Driven Systems: Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.

Performance Optimization: Experience in profiling and optimizing backend applications.

Security & Compliance: Knowledge of best practices for authentication, authorization, and data security.

Strong self-organization skills and proven ability to work in distributed team environment with delivery-first mindset .

Good communication skills in English and Russian.

Bonus Points For:

Experience with Go or Python.

Background in fintech or wealth management applications.

Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes
