The Role
We’re looking for a driven, creative, and relationship focused B2B Sales & Marketing Executive to join our commercial team.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you’ll take ownership of building strong partnerships, driving group sales, and representing Mad Monkey on the global travel stage. This is a hands-on role that combines business development, marketing collaboration, and brand storytelling, powered by smart use of AI to expand our reach and performance.
What You’ll Do
Build Epic Partnerships
Develop and manage relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, universities, and corporate groups.
Drive group bookings, package deals, and strategic collaborations across Mad Monkey’s hostel network.
Identify new partnership opportunities that align with our brand and values.
Drive Revenue Growth
Create and execute B2B sales strategies that increase occupancy, event bookings, and cross-property referrals.
Use AI tools to scale outreach, optimise lead conversion, and uncover new business potential.
Boost Brand Visibility
Represent Mad Monkey at trade shows, networking events, and online travel platforms.
Champion our brand voice within the backpacker, youth, and group travel communities.
Collaborate on Marketing
Partner with our marketing legends to design B2B campaigns, digital content, and promotional materials.
Create stories that make partners excited to work (and travel!) with Mad Monkey.
Content, PR & Investor Relations
Write compelling press releases and craft LinkedIn founder content that showcases our mission.
Develop professional decks and materials for partnership and investor proposals.
Manage PR distribution and media outreach to boost brand visibility globally.
Data, AI & Insights
Track performance metrics like lead conversion, partner ROI, and regional trends.
Use AI-driven insights to optimise strategy and decision-making.
Report results and recommendations directly to the Commercial Director.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years’ experience in B2B sales, business development, or marketing (travel, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors preferred).
A natural relationship builder who thrives on networking and collaboration.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, CRM tools, and data analytics.
Experience using AI tools for marketing automation, reporting, or lead generation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
A self-starter who’s creative, proactive, and passionate about travel.
