Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:
The IT Platform team delivers a reliable, scalable, secure and easy-to-use IT platform that enables all business value creation teams to innovate faster and more efficiently. We create a foundation for sustainable success through standardisation, automation and self-service solutions, and foster collaboration between teams by breaking down technical barriers. The basis for this is our modern and innovative infrastructure and the diverse know-how in our humorous IT Platform team.

We are looking for someone (remote | hybrid | on-site) who can further develop and optimise our Azure Cloud infrastructure and its security in particular. 

• As part of the IT platform team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a modern and scalable IT platform that ensures security, efficiency and optimal tools for development and operations.
• With your cloud expertise, you will play a key role in the team for all topics relating to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructures and solutions.
• You will help design cloud security solutions such as network, firewalls, VPN and web gateways.
• You will automate, optimise and innovate existing and new infrastructures in the cloud with IaC
• You will create disaster recovery scenarios and put them through their paces.

Requirements:
• You have a successfully completed IT degree, a comparable education (e.g. as an IT specialist for system integration) or have arrived in IT by other means.
• Your heart beats for the secure cloud infrastructure at Azure and for Infrastructure as Code.
• You are a professional in the administration of at least 2 of the following areas:• Azure Architecture such as Landing Zones, Management Groups and Azure Policies in the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
• Azure Network Topology and Connectivity incl. segmentation, firewalls, web gateways, VPN and IP addressing
• Azure Security such as identity management, encryption, key vault management, defender for cloud, RBAC and zero trust practices
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform, ArgoCD and Kubernetes

• You take a structured and meticulous approach to your work and are able to work independently and apply analytical and conceptual skills.
• You are a true team player, tackle challenges proactively and value mutual feedback.
• You have a very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English.
