We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with over 6 years of hands-on expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade Microsoft Azure environments. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructures across IaaS and PaaS services while driving operational excellence and cost optimization across multi-cloud ecosystems. You will play a key role in architecting cloud solutions, strengthening security posture, implementing Infrastructure-as-Code practices, and optimizing cloud financial operations (FinOps) to reduce overall cloud expenditure. The ideal candidate combines deep technical proficiency in Azure networking, security, automation, and monitoring with strong analytical and collaboration skills to deliver resilient and cost-efficient cloud platforms.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud environments (IaaS and PaaS).
• Configure and manage Azure networking components including Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Azure Bastion, Traffic Manager, DNS, and IP configurations.
• Implement and troubleshoot security solutions such as Azure Firewall, Azure DDoS Protection, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, TLS/SSL certificate bindings, MFA, and Conditional Access policies.
• Lead Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps) initiatives across Azure and AWS environments, introducing governance frameworks, monitoring tools, and cost optimization strategies to reduce annual cloud spend.
• Perform regular maintenance activities including patching, monitoring, backup management, and disaster recovery configurations for Azure VMs and services.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments using Terraform and ARM templates.
• Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, OMS, and Netcool.
• Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) configurations including users, groups, RBAC roles, and security policies.
• Support containerized and orchestration environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design architecture solutions, and deliver secure cloud services.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), architectural patterns, and configuration guidelines.
• Troubleshoot issues related to VM provisioning, networking connectivity, backup failures, and access controls.
• Coordinate with network and security teams to ensure compliance and governance standards are met.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud (IaaS and PaaS).
• Strong expertise in Azure networking, security, and identity management.
• Proven experience in FinOps, cloud governance, and multi-cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Solid knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and ARM templates.
• Experience with Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems in cloud environments.
• Experience managing Azure SQL and Azure Storage services (Blob, Queue, Table, File).
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and ticketing systems.
• Relevant Azure and Terraform certifications (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
