We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect to design, deploy, and manage a brand-new Azure tenant along with its associated cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in Azure architecture, governance, security, networking, disaster recovery, and enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end Azure environment setup, implement best practices for performance and availability, and ensure security, compliance, and operational excellence across the platform.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

Azure Tenant & Governance Setup

• Design and implement a new Azure tenant from scratch
• Establish governance frameworks, policies, access controls, and compliance standards
• Architect the Azure environment to meet defined performance, scalability, and availability requirements

Core Infrastructure Deployment & Configuration

Configure and manage the following Azure services:

• Azure Traffic Manager
• Azure Front Door
• Azure DDoS Protection
• Azure Firewall
• Microsoft Defender
• Azure ExpressRoute
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure Blob Storage
• Azure Cosmos DB
• Azure Event Hubs
• Azure App Services & Azure VM Scale Sets
• Azure Functions
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Log Analytics
• Azure Monitor
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure API Management
• Azure Cache for Redis
• Azure Backup Service
• Azure Site Recovery (including Disaster Recovery and failover setup)
• Azure Health Data Services (FHIR)
• Power BI integration

Disaster Recovery & High Availability

• Establish and test a DR environment using Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup
• Ensure high availability, business continuity, and data integrity
• Design and validate failover strategies

Security & Compliance

• Implement security best practices across the Azure ecosystem
• Configure DDoS protection, Azure Firewall, Microsoft Defender, and secure secrets via Key Vault
• Ensure compliance requirements, including healthcare standards using Azure Health Data Services (FHIR)

Networking & Performance Optimization

• Optimize global traffic routing using Azure Traffic Manager and Front Door
• Configure and manage secure hybrid connectivity via ExpressRoute
• Ensure low latency, resilience, and performance efficiency

Monitoring & Operations

• Implement centralized monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel
• Establish proactive alerting and incident response processes
• Provide ongoing infrastructure optimization and post-deployment support

Collaboration & Enablement

• Work closely with development teams to integrate AKS, API Management, Event Hubs, Functions, Logic Apps, and Cosmos DB
• Provide detailed architecture diagrams and technical documentation
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions
• Offer post-implementation operational support
