As our AWS Managed Services practice continues to scale, we are expanding our Cloud Operations team with a seasoned AWS Cloud Administrator to help support mission-critical workloads for our growing client base.
Role Overview
As an AWS Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for the operational management, availability, and performance of customer workloads on Amazon Web Services. You will collaborate with our MSP/NOC and security teams to ensure environments are secure, optimized, and proactively monitored. You will also serve as a technical escalation point for cloud infrastructure support tickets.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, support, and optimize AWS compute environments (EC2, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing).
Manage cloud resources, backups, patching, and disaster recovery configurations.
Support AWS networking and hybrid connectivity (VPC, TGW, VPN, Direct Connect).
Administer AWS security services and policies (IAM, KMS, Security Groups, GuardDuty).
Deploy automation for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS Systems Manager.
Monitor performance and respond to alerts through Arcadion’s NOC/SOC platforms.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and act as L2/L3 escalation on cloud workloads.
Participate in client onboarding assessments, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Ensure governance alignment with Well-Architected best practices and CIS/NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
Contribute to continuous improvement of Arcadion's AWS Managed Services delivery playbooks.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5+ years hands-on experience administering cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS.
Strong knowledge of:
EC2, EBS, AMIs, Load Balancers, Auto-Scaling
VPC networking (subnets, routing, NAT, NACLs)
IAM policy management & identity governance
Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.)
Familiarity with Linux and Windows server administration.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation and/or Terraform).
Understanding of backup, DR, and business continuity in cloud environments.
Working knowledge of container services (ECS/EKS) considered a strong asset.
Familiarity with security operations and compliance within AWS environments.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage urgent client situations.
Strong communication and client-facing professionalism in a managed services environment.
Nice-to-Have
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
Experience in MSP or multi-tenant cloud operations.
Exposure to Azure and M365 services (Arcadion multi-cloud integration).
Automation scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
