We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Aviation Maintenance Controller to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position combines the expertise of maintenance planning and control with hands-on mechanical work, ensuring the highest standards of aircraft maintenance and safety are achieved. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to maintaining our fleet's operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Control
Oversee and coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations of the fleet
Support the DOM with assigned tasks
Monitor aircraft status in real-time, ensuring all maintenance activities comply with regulatory standards and company procedures
Collaborate with operations to optimize aircraft availability and minimize disruptions
Analyze maintenance data to forecast potential issues and implement preventative measures
Communicate with the FAA as needed
Qualifications:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required
Previous experience in aviation maintenance control and as a mechanic
Strong understanding of FAA regulations, maintenance manuals, and aircraft systems
Proficiency in maintenance software and diagnostic tools
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs dictate
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
Must reside in and be eligible to work in the United States
