Job Description
We are looking for an experienced AVEVA OSI PI Consultant / Engineer with 6 to 12 years of hands-on experience in implementation, configuration, customization, and support of AVEVA OSI PI solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise across the PI ecosystem and be capable of delivering robust real-time data integration and analytics solutions in complex industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, configure, and customize AVEVA OSI PI System solutions based on business and operational requirements
• Manage and maintain PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), Event Frames, AF Analytics, PI Vision, RTReports, and PI SDK
• Design, develop, and configure PI Interfaces including RDBMS, OPC DA (Gen 1/Gen 2), and OPC UA
• Implement and support PI Connectors and other data integration solutions to collect and store real-time data from multiple source systems
• Develop and optimize PI Asset Framework models to improve data structure, contextualization, and usability
• Monitor PI System performance, reliability, and availability, and proactively troubleshoot system issues
• Manage system security including user access, permissions, and data governance within the PI environment
• Create intuitive dashboards, reports, and real-time visualizations using PI Vision, PI ProcessBook, or equivalent visualization tools
• Support analytics and reporting requirements for operational and business users
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, offshore teams, and onshore teams to resolve technical issues and deliver project milestones
• Lead or support status calls with clients and provide clear progress updates
Requirements:
Required Technical Skills
• Strong expertise in:
• PI Data Archive
• PI Asset Framework (AF)
• PI Interfaces (RDBMS, OPC DA Gen 1/2, OPC UA)
• Event Frames
• AF Analytics
• PI Vision
• RTReports
• PI SDK
• Good understanding of real-time industrial data integration architectures
• Experience in troubleshooting PI performance and connectivity issues
• Familiarity with system administration, backup, and monitoring of PI environments
Preferred Skills
• Experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, or Healthcare domain
• Knowledge of IQ, OQ, PQ validation processes
• Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and related regulatory compliance frameworks
Communication & Collaboration
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively with distributed global teams
• Comfortable interacting directly with clients and driving technical discussions

• Any India location, preferably Bangalore or Hyderabad
