Av Foreman (Active Security Clearance)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV Foreman to lead commercial audio-visual installation projects with a focus on systems that include Crestron, Extron, or AMX control platforms. The AV Foreman will supervise onsite teams, ensure project timelines are met, and act as the technical lead for AV installations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and system functionality. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth AV knowledge, and a hands-on approach. Active security clearance required (Top Secret clearance preferred).

Responsibilities::
• Lead and oversee the installation of commercial AV systems including displays, projectors, video walls, speakers, microphones, control systems, and related infrastructure.
• Interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and technical documents to execute project plans.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Crestron, Extron, and/or AMX control systems.
• Supervise and coordinate field technicians and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards.
• Perform cable pulls, terminations, equipment mounting, rack building, and system testing.
• Maintain communication with the Project Manager regarding project progress, resource needs, and any onsite issues or delays.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing to verify proper system performance before project turnover.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and job site protocols.
• Provide on-site training or system walkthroughs to clients or end users as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation including change orders, punch lists, and daily reports.
