Jackie Cooper BMW in Edmond is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a BMW Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing high-performance luxury vehicles, ensuring our customers receive top-quality service.

• Perform diagnostic tests on BMW vehicles using specialized equipment and software
• Execute routine maintenance tasks and complex repairs on BMW automobiles
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles
• Utilize BMW-specific tools and follow manufacturer guidelines for all repairs
• Explain technical issues and repair procedures to service advisors and customers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
• Stay updated on the latest BMW technologies and repair techniques
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department
• Document all repair and maintenance work accurately in the service management system

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ASE Certification (preferred)
• BMW Factory Training certification (preferred)
• Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with BMW vehicles
• In-depth knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and BMW-specific tools and software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
