Position Summary
The Fixed Operations Assistant supports the Service and Parts departments by helping maintain an organized, efficient, team member and customer-friendly environment. This role assists with vehicle movement, customer transportation, facility upkeep, and general support tasks that help keep daily operations running smoothly.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with shop cleaning and service drive cleaning to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Perform basic facility maintenance and help keep service and parts areas clean and organized.
Serve as a lot porter, moving vehicles as needed for service technicians and service operations.
Complete parts pickups and delivery runs to support the Parts Department.
Clean and maintain service loaner vehicles, ensuring they are presentable and ready for customer use.
Perform new vehicle battery maintenance to ensure inventory vehicles remain ready for sale.
Provide shuttle service for customers, including pickup and delivery of customers and vehicles when needed.
Assist service advisors, technicians, and parts staff with miscellaneous support tasks as needed.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers and team members.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to safely operate automatic and manual vehicles preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong reliability and willingness to help wherever needed.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Schedule & Travel
Monday through Friday, full-time (40 hours per week).
Primary work location is Iowa Falls, with occasional work required at our Waverly location as needed.
