We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service BDC Representative to join our automotive dealership’s service department. This role is critical to delivering an exceptional customer experience by managing inbound and outbound communications, scheduling service appointments, and supporting service department growth. Key Responsibilities:
● Answer inbound phone calls, texts, emails, and online service inquiries promptly and professionally
● Schedule, confirm, and manage service appointments for customers
● Make outbound follow-up calls for:
○ Missed appointments (no-shows)
○ Maintenance reminders
○ Recall and campaign outreach
○ Declined service follow-ups
● Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM and DMS
● Verify customer and vehicle information (contact details, VIN, mileage, concerns)
● Coordinate closely with service advisors and management to maximize shop capacity
● Set clear expectations with customers regarding appointment times and service processes
● Maintain high standards for call quality, response time, and customer satisfaction
● Meet or exceed daily and monthly performance goals (calls, appointments set/shown, follow-ups)
● Maintain compliance with dealership policies and customer privacy standards
Qualifications:
● Previous BDC, call center, customer service, or automotive experience preferred
● Strong phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to handle high call volume in a fast-paced environment
● Comfortable using CRM systems, scheduling software, and basic computer applications
● Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
● Strong organizational and time-management skills
● Automotive dealership experience is a plus, but not required
