Role Overview
We are hiring a Field Service Driver responsible for a structured, home-based B2B route across the Okanagan.
This is a professional customer-facing role combining:
Route delivery to business customers
Strong customer interaction in automotive, industrial, and commercial environments
Hands-on equipment troubleshooting and repair when required
You are a key field representative responsible for ensuring equipment is properly functioning and customers are supported professionally.
What You Will Do
Operate a company cargo van on a structured daily B2B route (stored at your home)
Deliver and pick up equipment and related products
Provide professional, friendly customer service at every stop
Work directly with automotive, industrial, and commercial customers
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in the field or on-site when required
Ensure equipment is operational before leaving customer locations
Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Complete simple mobile/tablet reporting for daily route activity
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with hands-on technical ability AND customer-facing experience, such as:
Required experience:
Equipment repair, troubleshooting, or field service work
Mechanical aptitude with tools and diagnostics
Comfort working independently in customer environments
B2B route delivery experience (cargo van or structured route work)
Strongly preferred (not required):
Automotive dealership or repair shop experience
Automotive technician, apprentice, or service background
Industrial, fleet, or equipment service experience
👉 Automotive experience is a strong advantage but not a requirement.
This Role Is NOT For
General labour or warehouse-only applicants
Uber, DoorDash, or gig economy drivers
Office or remote workers
Pure delivery drivers with no technical or repair ability
Candidates unable to work directly with customers
Requirements
Must live in the Kelowna / Okanagan region
Valid driver’s licence with clean driving record
Ability to store and park a company cargo van at your home
Experience in equipment repair or technical field work
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable, organized, and self-managed
Comfortable using mobile/tablet systems daily
