Responsibilities:

Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in the automotive repair shop.

Shadow experienced technicians during repair procedures to learn best practices and techniques.

Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used for each repair or maintenance task.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools.

Continuously seek opportunities for learning and skill development through training programs and workshops.

Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality requirements.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Provide your own tools/toolbox.

Enrolled or willing to enroll in an automotive technician apprenticeship program.

Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repair.

Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.

Good communication skills.

Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.

Physical stamina to lift and move heavy parts and equipment.

Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols at all times.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in automotive repair or maintenance.

Completion of vocational training in automotive technology or related field.

Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software.

Certifications from reputable automotive organizations (e.g., ASE certifications).
