The Detailer is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and detailing vehicles after repairs, and paint correction. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities and Duties::
• Vehicle Cleaning:
• Perform comprehensive exterior washes, including waxing and polishing.
• Clean and detail the interior of vehicles, focusing on vacuuming, upholstery cleaning, and surface cleaning.
• Remove any debris or materials left in the vehicle from the repair process.
• Paint-Correction:
• Evaluate paint condition to determine the correct methods.
• Choose appropriate methods like polishing or compounding.
• Apply correction products carefully to avoid damage.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect vehicles post-repair to ensure they meet quality standards for cleanliness and presentation.
• Identify and report any issues or areas needing attention to management.
• Final walk around with advisor before customer is called
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in good working order.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
• Time Management:
• Complete detailing tasks efficiently to ensure timely delivery of vehicles to customers.
• Prioritize workload based on repair schedules and customer needs.
• Customer Interaction:
• Occasionally interact with customers during vehicle pick-up, providing information on the detailing work performed.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding vehicle status and any concerns.
• Monitor the whiteboard and promptly move magnets as vehicle status changes.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing duties.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding cleaning products and waste disposal.

• Arrive on time and fully prepared for each shift.
• Demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all detailing tasks.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude in the workplace.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently, ensuring timely project completion without compromising quality.

Accountability::
• The Detailer is expected to take ownership of assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and uphold the standards of the organization. Regular performance evaluations will be conducted to assess adherence to these responsibilities and overall contributions to the team. Failure to meet these expectations may result in additional training or disciplinary action.

Minimum Qualifications::
• Detailing Experience: Must have at least 1 year in a detailing related position.
• Organizational Skills: Must be able to work and complete work tasks in a timely fashion in an environment that has constant distractions and interruptions.
• Computer Knowledge & Ability: Must possess a working knowledge of how to use a Windows computer. This includes the ability to type or dictate at least 30 words per minute, operate a cursor, view a computer monitor, operate an email account, and use common office software such as word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate in English fluently, in both verbal and in written form.
• Math Skills: Must possess ability to count. Must know how to perform basic math functions using a calculator.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Must be a team player and have a professional attitude - culture is everything!
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to adapt and learn
• Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift more than 50lbs without assistance
• Must be able to get into and out of various vehicles without assistance.
• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle with passengers.
• Must be able to walk / stand for 90% of the day.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
