Job Description

We’re looking for a versatile Test Engineer to join our Alfresco team working for an engineering industry customer.

Our team is responsible for maintenance and development of content management platform which serves as document storage system and enables collaboration cross the entire engineering company. It also involves integration with multiple internal and external applications through REST APIs to enable seamless data exchange. The solution includes several user interfaces tailored for different use cases.

The Test Engineer role combines hands-on manual testing with automation and performance testing, ideal for someone who enjoys working across different testing layers and continuously improving quality processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases
• Validate REST APIs using tools like Postman
• Participate in functional, regression, and performance testing
• Collaborate closely with developers, support and DevOps to ensure software quality
• Identify, log, and retest defects using Jira + Zephyr
• Contribute to test automation using Python + Robot Framework
• Run and analyze automated test pipelines in Jenkins
• Apply OWASP Top 10 security testing principles and use ZAP where applicable

We would also like you to have:

• Proven experience in manual software testing
• Proficiency with Postman (or similar REST API clients)
• Working knowledge of Linux (curl / wget / basic commands)
• At least 2+ years of experience in automation testing, ideally with Python + Robot Framework
• Familiarity with Jenkins (configuration and usage)
• Understanding of security testing concepts (OWASP Top 10, ZAP)
• English on full business proficiency level

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Alfresco platform
• Integration testing with Zephyr in Jira
• Azure (DevOps, pipelines, or cloud basics/intermediate)
• Interest in performance testing and CI/CD improvement
