ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to be a part of one of our software development teams in Sofia, Bulgaria. You will contribute to a large-scale, high-visibility platform designed for performance, availability, and scalability, handling a significant volume of documents in a distributed, cloud-based environment.
THE WORK:
As a Test analyst:
• Design test plan and test data for functional testing, integration testing based on business and technical requirements.
• Writing a test plan for usability and performance testing based on non-functional requirements.
• Execute test cases, follow up, and monitor the different test sessions (report issues and perform quality checks after issue resolution).
• Analyze, identify and execute regression tests to ensure that code updates do not negatively affect existing features.
• Review specifications, test scenarios, scripts, and test data developed by other team members.
• Document testing activities:
• Test plan + traceability matrix
• Daily report of the test session
• Test report at the end of the test session
• Daily monitor and follpw up quality assurance metrics.
As an Automation Test Engineer:
• Implement functional automated tests using Selenium for front-end.
• Implement automated tests using Junit for back-end applications.
• Implement API tests using Postman for back-end.
• Implement performance tests using Locust.
• Support application releases by monitoring and stabilizing automated test execution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and improve the existing automated test suite.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• A university degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of software testing disciplines, methodologies, and strategies.
• At least 3 years of experience in a testing environment within cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience in script development using scripting languages.
• Experience with test management and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray).
• Strong expertise in test automation using Selenium with Java (mandatory).
• Experience with SoapUI, GitHub, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• The following certifications are highly valued and will be considered a strong asset:
• ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (CTFL)
• Certified Selenium Tester
• ISTQB Advanced Level – Test Automation Engineer
