As an Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise applications through automation testing. Your role will involve developing and maintaining automated test scripts, integrating with test management tools, and conducting thorough reviews of test cases. You will work closely with other team members to identify and resolve defects, performing root cause analysis and improving defect management processes. Your focus will be on large-scale applications that include various front-end technologies such as WPF, web-based interfaces, and backend components, including databases, web services, and messaging systems.

In this position, you will apply your expertise in C# and object-oriented programming to build and optimise automation frameworks. You will be involved in testing web services and REST APIs, utilising tools like Selenium, XUnit, and Postman. Additionally, you will work with service testing tools such as Fiddler, SOAP UI, and JSON Lint to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Your role will require close collaboration within an Agile development environment, contributing to the overall quality of software releases and improving automation strategies over time.

To succeed in this role, you should have 4 to 7 years of experience in automation testing with strong coding skills in C#. A solid understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and experience with test automation for enterprise applications is essential. You should be proficient in testing web services and REST APIs, as well as working with automation frameworks like Coded UI, Selenium, and XUnit. Hands-on experience with database queries and SOA testing principles will be beneficial.

Your ability to work in an Agile development environment, communicate effectively, and collaborate with international teams will be crucial. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to quickly adapt to complex systems. Prior exposure to performance and load testing, as well as experience in large system integration projects, will be an advantage. A degree in Computer Science, MCA, or an equivalent qualification is required. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
