We are looking for a detail-oriented Automation Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions. The role involves improving system efficiency, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and collaborating with development and operations teams to implement scalable automation frameworks.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and sustain automation frameworks and scripts
• Automate functional, regression, and API testing for QA roles or operational workflows for DevOps roles
• Evaluate current processes to identify opportunities for automation
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration
• Run automated test suites and interpret the outcomes
• Troubleshoot and fix issues related to automation
• Incorporate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines
• Document automation procedures and test cases accurately
• Participate in ongoing improvements and the establishment of best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 3 to 4 years of practical experience in automation engineering or test automation
• Proficient in programming with at least one language such as Python, Java, or C#
• Hands-on experience with automation tools including Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Experience using API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or their equivalents
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile practices
• Experienced with version control systems, particularly Git

Good to Have

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
