Job Description

QA Tester

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a QA Tester. This is a full-time and hybrid role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and quality assurance testing on software applications
• Develop and provide comprehensive test plans with existing requirements and document results
• Define and track quality assurance metrics such as test coverage, defects, test results and test status
• Perform all phases of testing including functional, performance, regression, and integration
• Provide resolution for all defects identified during testing phase.
• Display a high-level of initiative and troubleshooting skills.
• Support the development and validation of security and vulnerability tests against applications

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other applicable disciplines
• 5+ years of experience with Automated QA testing and Agile methodologies, process and deliverables
• Demonstrated understanding of Section 508, and writing test scripts
• Experience with Performance testing (JMeter) experience
• Experience with coordinating test environments and test data for analysis
• Experience executing automated test cases and test plans
• Possess successful history of tracking and reporting testing progress across multiple releases
• Experience with test management tools like Jira or ALM
• Experience testing low code and BPM platforms (specifically Appian)
• Experience with Automation testing (Selenium/ FitNesse)
