Job Description

Position: Auto mechanic

Location: San Jose, CA

Shift: General Shift (Mon-Fri)

Pay rate: $25/hr

In this role, you will be working directly with the customer and a team of Engineers. You will be responsible for providing support on vehicle maintenance and advising on modifications that can be done to vehicles.

Responsibilities

· Efficiently and accurately perform quality repair work on vehicles

· Provide feedback on how to perform custom modifications.

· Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing.

· Road-test vehicle to ensure quality repair work was completed.

· Two or more years of previous experience as an automotive technician.

· National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as electrical/electronic systems, chassis, body, engine performance preferred.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid CA driver license.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· Have strong organizational skills and be extremely detail oriented

· Be self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with little to no supervision
