Namdeb Diamond Corporation invites interested individuals to be part of alluvial mining operations that offer unique challenges for professionals who wish to be part of a world-class operation.

The Challenge:

The Ideal Applicant:

• Grade 10 (24 points over 7 subjects, and an E in English), with Mathematics and Science. AND
• Pre 1993 – Auto Electrician Trade Diploma with N2 Certificate, OR
• 1992 – 1994 – Level 4 Auto Electrician Trade Diploma with 4 theoretical subjects at Level 3, OR
• Post 1994 – Level 3 Trade certificate with 4 theoretical subject at Level 3.
• The above Qualifications should be NTA accredited.
• Code B/BE Driver’s license (Manual Transmission).
• Computer literacy.
• Two (2) years post apprenticeship experience as an Auto Electrician Artisan in the mining industry.
• Preference will be given to candidates with at least two (2) years experience maintaining Volvo A60H articulated dump trucks.

• Knowledge of diagnoses, fault finding and repair of earthmoving machines and equipment.
