Authorised Person- Netherlands

Centum Engineering is a progressive company and leading provider of engineering services to several main contractors operating across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe - Working on large and important projects across all industries.

We are currently recruiting for Authorised Person for a projects in Netherlands.  The successful candidates will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a company committed to developing and assisting operatives reach their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities

Organise and execute HV switching, isolation, earthing, and issue of safety documentation for networks up to 33kV.

Ensure all personnel comply with Safe Systems of Work and relevant safety standards.

Evaluate, appoint, and maintain a competency register for skilled personnel, including training records and responsibilities.

Conduct investigations into near misses, incidents, and accidents, identifying corrective actions.

Coordinate and oversee on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest safety standards.

Allocate tasks in line with the project schedule and commissioning plan.

Maintain compliance with statutory standards and regulations.

Proactively resolve any issues that arise on-site.

Implement and maintain health & safety systems, including risk assessments, method statements, and toolbox talks.

Ensure accurate and concise project documentation and reporting.

Identify efficiency improvements and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Act as a key liaison with client managers, providing updates and participating in project meetings.

Skills & Requirements

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

·        Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

·        Attention to detail and a strong work ethic

·        Authorised Person (AP) status to work on 33kV networks.
