Compensation: $120-$140 per hour
We are seeking experienced Australian Legal Experts with a background in litigation or corporate/transactional law to support new Australia-focused dataset projects. This role involves identifying, compiling, and organizing publicly available legal and financial documents for use in internal system testing and external demonstrations of advanced AI technologies.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, review, and organize publicly available legal and financial documents in accordance with defined project guidelines.
• Ensure all compiled materials are accurate, complete, clearly structured, and properly sourced.
• Follow established documentation standards and quality assurance processes.
• Verify that all data is obtained exclusively from public, verifiable sources.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and consistently meet project deadlines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are a strong fit if you have:
• Prior professional experience in litigation or corporate/transactional legal work within one of the following Australian jurisdictions:
• New South Wales
• Victoria
• Queensland
• Western Australia
• South Australia
• Australian Capital Territory
• Tasmania
• Northern Territory
•
• Familiarity with Australian legal and regulatory document repositories and public record systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adhere to structured documentation requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight timelines.
• Comfort working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Engagement Details
• This is an independent contractor engagement.
• The role is fully remote and can be completed on a flexible schedule.
• Project duration may vary based on performance and evolving project requirements.
• The work does not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are issued weekly via Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.
