Job Description
Your mission:
This is a hands-on, physical role — not a desk-based office job.
As part of our Operations Support team, you’ll take care of the practical side of our workspace: setting things up, keeping areas clean and functional, moving equipment, and supporting basic maintenance and installation tasks.
You’ll spend most of your time on your feet, working with your hands, using tools, and keeping our operational spaces (including storage and garage areas) in good shape.
This role is ideal for students in mechanical, electrical, electronics, or similar fields who want to get their hands dirty and gain practical experience alongside their studies.
Your responsibilities• Keep workspaces, storage areas, and garage spaces clean, organized, and functional (includes regular cleaning tasks)
• Handle waste management, including taking out trash and maintaining shared and operational areas
• Move, lift, and transport items such as drinks, packages, equipment, and furniture
• Support basic setup and installation tasks (e.g. assembling furniture, shelving, simple equipment)
• Assist with handyman work and small maintenance tasks
• Help with office/workspace setup, reconfiguration, and moving projects
• Support logistics and storage organization, including handling incoming deliveries
• Maintain order and safety in operational areas (garage, storage, technical spaces)
• Provide hands-on support wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly
Your profile:
• Student or trainee (Ausbildung) in a practical/technical field such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience
• Alternatively: background in technical, workshop, handyman, or maintenance-related work
• You enjoy hands-on, physical work and don’t mind getting your hands dirty
• Experience with tools, assembly, or practical/hardware-related tasks
• Comfortable with lifting, moving, and manual tasks
• Practical mindset: you see what needs to be done and take initiative
• Reliable, structured, and able to work independently
• Team-oriented with clear communication skills
• Available to work on-site on a regular part-time schedule
Nice to have:
• Background in handyman work, mechanical/electrical fields, or workshop environments
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or facilities support
• Experience maintaining storage areas, garages, or technical spaces
• Driver’s license and confidence in transporting items if needed
What else:
• Intrinsic motivation, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving mindset
• Creative thinker with a structured and systematic approach
• Humble and collaborative — prioritizes collective success over individual recognition
• High ethical standards and disciplined work ethic
• Extra-curricular leadership or achievements are a bonus
• Fluent in English, German a plus
