Auditor (CPA)

We are hiring an experienced Auditor to join our growing accounting team in Thomasville, North Carolina. Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement audits for nonprofit and governmental clients in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable auditing standards.
• Assess internal controls, accounting processes, and compliance frameworks.
• Identify financial and operational risks and recommend improvements.
• Prepare comprehensive audit documentation, reports, and summaries of findings.
• Present audit results and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor updates in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate engagement completion.

Requirements:
• CPA license preferred, or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• 4–6 years of progressive auditing experience.
• Experience auditing nonprofit organizations and government entities strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, auditing standards, and compliance regulations.
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple audit engagements and meet strict deadlines.
