PwC Romania's Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) practice is looking to recruit a manager to join our team. PwC is the leading practice in tax, assurance and advisory and offers a diverse range of services and opportunities for newcomers to our organization.

The opportunity

We are looking to expand our CMAAS-State Aid and Eu Funds Assurance Team. As a Manager within the department you’ll report directly to senior managers and directors and you will be in charge of managing different audit assignments under several framework contracts between PwC and the European Institutions.

Since you will lead and manage audit assignments worldwide, this role will involve travelling as well.

The role

Joining as a Manager in CMAAS, you can expect to be involved in a variety of interesting, challenging, and diverse projects.

That means you’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues. You’ll also be collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines in order to build relationships and identify opportunities for our clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas.

You will

· lead audit assignments on different thematic areas funded by the European Union or Romanian Authorities

· be in touch with the client and the auditee on a daily basis;

· be in charge of the supervision of the audit field work, establishing the risk-based audit strategy and set up the audit program;

· work cross-border with different teams in different time zones using digital audit tools;

· closely monitor assignment deadlines and deliverables, ensuring that your projects run timely and efficiently.

Skills and Experience

· You hold an university degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy;

· You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in financial audit, consultancy or accounting services

· You have a Master degree in economics or finance;

· An audit certifications in progress is a plus;

· You are very fluent in English. Knowledge of any other language would be considered an asset.
