We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our growing accounting team in North Bend, NE. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary range of $95,000–$110,000 and is ideal for a CPA with strong leadership skills who enjoys managing audit engagements and mentoring staff. The Audit Manager will oversee audit projects, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and auditing standards, and collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage internal and external audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP, auditing standards, and internal control requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and senior accountants.
• Identify audit risks and recommend process and control improvements.
• Serve as the primary contact for audit-related matters with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate audit timelines, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
• Active CPA certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive audit experience, including leadership or management roles.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, auditing standards, and internal controls.
• Experience in public accounting, internal audit, or regulated environments preferred.
• Proficiency with audit and accounting software, as well as Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work onsite in North Bend, NE at least part of the time.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple audit engagements and meet deadline
