Warehouse Associate

The Opportunity
Quest Audio Visual is hiring a Full-time Warehouse Associate to support the daily operations of our video and live event warehouse. This hands-on role is essential to keeping our equipment organized, safe, and show-ready. You’ll play a critical part in preparing, tracking, and maintaining audiovisual gear that powers high-impact live events.

The Role
Compensation: $18-$22 per hour
Benefits: Comprehensive health and dental benefits after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.
Work Type: Full-time, in-person role located at our Toronto headquarters.
Start Date: ASAP – the position is currently open and ready to be filled.
On-site training for this position.
Responsibilities and duties:
Warehouse Safety, Organization & Culture
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Follow all safety protocols and Health & Safety (H&S) policies
Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions
Contribute to a positive team culture that promotes high performance and morale
Inventory Control & Equipment Handling
Assist with inventory management and equipment tracking
Check in, verify, and inspect incoming equipment for accuracy and condition
Label, organize, and store equipment in designated locations
Handle equipment carefully to prevent damage or loss
Equipment Preparation & Returns
Prepare audiovisual equipment for rental, deployment, and live events
Pull, stage, and return owned and cross-rented equipment efficiently
Support accurate and timely equipment turnaround
Maintenance & Storage Support
Assist with basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs
Ensure equipment is stored correctly for accessibility and longevity
The Candidate
Must-haves
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in an audiovisual warehouse or live event environment (stagehand, operator, etc.)
Intermediate knowledge of live event video equipment (cameras, LED panels, displays, processing)
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely and consistently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and logging
Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Nice-to-Haves
Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse software
Broader knowledge of audiovisual equipment beyond video
Interest in growing into leadership, technical, or operations roles

Interview Process

15 to 30-minute phone screen interview with a member of our team.
1 in-person 60-minute job/cultural interview with members of our team.
