Position Summary:
FacED needs help with the following tasks:
• Looking at the different online offers from McGill schools and departments and adapting the offers so that they can be offered on FacED’s course
• Adapting older versions of FacED’s online offerings (e.g., teaching Journey, Peer Coaching)
• Creating online courses from the content created by the FacED team
• Creating and managing badges, awards, certificates of completion and intelligent agents on myCourses
• Checking that Course Merchant links work properly. Brainstorming solutions when there are difficulties in accessing a course.
• Troubleshooting any online course related difficulties with the FacED team.
• Compiling surveys and course evaluations.
• This list is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Advanced knowledge of audio/video or graphic software is required.
Skills needed:
• Video editing
• Building Online courses using content provided by our team
• Proficiency at learning and adopting new technologies (e.g., myCourses, Articulate, Camtesia)
• Bilingual French and English
