Audio File Reviewer (Korean)

Upwork has partnered with an enterprise client who is a boutique games services company with 35 offices in 11 countries worldwide. Their range of services includes quality assurance, localization, customer experience, art production, game development services, and audio production services.

To continue making an impact, they are looking for an Audio File Reviewer (Korean) to check audio files before they go into production.

Key Responsibilities

• You will listen to assigned Korean audio files and transcribe speech-to-text when needed.

• You will compare each audio file with its corresponding script in Excel and identify any mismatches, omissions, or inconsistencies.

• You will accurately document all differences following the project’s guidelines.

• You will complete accepted tasks within 2 days of assignment.

• You will maintain high accuracy and attention to detail across all batches.

Work Structure

• You will be assigned in daily batches of several audio files.

• You will be sporadic but ongoing based on project needs.

• You may accept or decline batches depending on availability.

• Most batches range from 1,000 to 4,000 words.

Compensation

• You will be paid at a rate of $0.004 per word based on the script word count.

• On average, 3,900 words can be reviewed in 1 hour, resulting in an hourly rate of approximately $15.60.

• You must must confirm that you are comfortable with the per-word rate during the interview process.

• Native or fluent Korean language proficiency.

• Strong listening skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to follow structured guidelines and maintain accuracy.

• Comfortable working within Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.

• Ability to meet 48-hour turnaround times for accepted tasks.
