Job Summary:
The Audio Engineer provides professional live and broadcast audio engineering while actively developing and equipping volunteer production teams. This role helps cultivate a culture of excellence, growth, and servant leadership within the production ministry, enabling the Production and Worship teams to move further and faster into the next season God is leading Radiant Church.
Success in this role is measured not only by technical excellence but by the growth, development and empowerment of production staff and volunteers at all our locations serving in audio.

Support the works of the ministry of Radiant Church

Willing to become, if not already, a member of Radiant Church within 6 months of employment
Demonstrate a commitment to handling conflict Biblically, following principles in Matthew 18
Duties/Responsibilities:
The responsibilities listed below focus primarily on services and events at all Radiant Locations and Production supported rooms.
Directly responsible for the quality of audio in the main sanctuaries with the goal of excellence and consistency
Directly responsible for audio quality in secondary rooms such as: Student Centers, auxiliary rooms and any ministry environments that host larger groups of people on a regular basis
Develop and train location production staff on audio procedures and standards
Aid location production staff in recruiting, developing and discipling audio volunteers across all campuses
Develop clear audio training processes, documentation and onboarding pathways for new volunteers
Maintain documentation for audio system signal flow, patching and standard operating procedures
Operate and maintain all audio equipment, including repairs, cleaning, software updates, and proper non-use storage
Follow proper safety practices when installing or servicing audio equipment, including ladder and lift usage
Responsible for troubleshooting and handling of problems and failures of audio equipment
Set up and tear down of production equipment for all services and events
Assist Associate Production Director in planning, designing and execution of large scale production events and services
Responsible for Audio/Video capture with the intent of distribution to broadcast, in house systems and reference recording
Support Worship Department at Thursday night rehearsals
Work in close proximity with worship teams pre-emptively and weekly for service planning
Assist in design, installation, and removal of all future system installs
Assist in research and acquisition of new technology and the sale of antiquated and outdated equipment
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience in audio mixing and engineering

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or 10 years of related work experience
Dante Certified (Level 1 or higher)
Smaart Certified (Level 1 or Higher)
AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
Competencies:
Digico Quantum And SD Series Console’s, Klang, Aviom, Waves Super Rack, Protools, Reaper, Dante, H2R Gear, Mac OS X,
Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Planning Center, BambooHR, Basecamp, Adobe Acrobat, and Concur.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to remain standing/sitting for long periods of time
Must be able to bend and twist at the waist
