Position Overview:
The Auction Sales Representative supports and closes vehicle sales conducted through the company’s online automotive auction platform. This role focuses on managing assigned buyer leads, guiding customers through the auction and purchase process, and ensuring a smooth transaction from bid acceptance through delivery. This is a digital-first sales position that does not involve traditional showroom selling. Success is driven by responsiveness, organization, and the ability to convert auction activity into completed sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned inbound buyer leads generated through the online auction platform
Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers throughout the transaction lifecycle
Guide customers through bidding, purchase procedures, timelines, and next steps
Support deals from accepted bid through payment, documentation, and delivery coordination
Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and administrative teams to close deals efficiently
Maintain accurate CRM records, follow-ups, and deal status updates
Respond promptly to phone, email, and digital inquiries
Maintain working knowledge of inventory, auction processes, and platform tools
Qualifications:
Experience in automotive sales, automotive auctions or vehicle marketplaces
Comfort working in a digital sales or online marketplace environment
Strong communication skills with a professional phone and email presence
Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
Experience using CRM systems and sales technology
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with vehicle documentation, titles, and transaction workflows
