About the role 

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect specializing in the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem to lead architecture, roadmap design and large-scale platform transformations.

You will partner with product, engineering, security and business stakeholders to translate strategy into scaleable architecture and actionable roadmaps.The role required balancing business value, technical quality, cost, risk and time to market.

This is a senior role where you will design, document and implement complex IT solutions aligned with business objectives. Acting as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

What you will do 

You will lead solution architecture across applications, data, intergations and security. Ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and target state.  

Your work will include: 

• Defining architecture patterns, guardrails and reference architectures 

• Designing scalable and secure solutions aligned with best practices 

• Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams 

• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions 

• Assessing risks, organizational impact and financial implications 

• Evaluating and recommending technologies and platforms 

You will play a key role in guiding teams through trade-offs and supporting complex decision-making processes. 

We think you bring solid experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar senior engineering role with strong architectural expertise.

You likely have: 

• Several years of experience designing and delivering complex IT solutions 

• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design principles 

• Experience administering Atlassian platforms in Data Center and Cloud environments 

• Experience working with stakeholders across technical and business domains 

• Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies 

• Strong understanding of integrations, cloud technologies and service-oriented architecture 

You are comfortable identifying risk, explaining complex concepts clearly and providing structured guidance in demanding environments.
