Atlassian Migration Lead

We are looking for a Migration Lead to support and execute the transition from multiple Atlassian Data Center instances to a single Atlassian Cloud site.

You will work hands-on across discovery, migration, testing and user readiness together with other senior colleagues and platform owners. The role covers the full migration lifecycle, from assessments and planning through execution and post migration stabilization.

This role suits someone with strong Atlassian administration experience and migration expertise who is ready to take ownership of leading Data Center to Cloud transformations within Atlassian environments. 

What you will do 

You will lead and coordinate the migration from Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian Cloud, driving planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder alignment while remaining hands on where needed. 

Typical tasks include: 

• Assessing existing Atlassian environments and supporting migration planning 

• Executing migrations across Jira, Confluence and JSM 

• Preparing and validating data before and after migration 

• Simplifying configurations, workflows and custom fields 

• Supporting marketplace app migrations and integrations 

• Supporting users during testing and stabilization periods 

We think you have experience working with Atlassian environments and migration activities. 

You likely have experience with: 

• Administration of Jira, Confluence and JSM in Data Center or Cloud 

• Atlassian migrations or similar platform transitions 

• Workflows, permissions and marketplace apps 

• Integrations or identity setups 

• Working with both technical teams and business stakeholders 

You are structured in your work and comfortable troubleshooting issues when they arise.
