At Ellison Drive Animal Hospital in San Antonio, TX, we’ve built a culture where teamwork, learning, and laughter go hand in hand. As a general practice that welcomes all animals, our doctors and technicians work shoulder-to-shoulder, sharing knowledge, mentoring, and staying connected through morning huddles and open communication.

We offer a wide range of services to ensure we provide the highest quality of veterinary medicine to pets in our community. Our modern facility is equipped with:
• Heska digital radiology, mobile ultrasound unit, and a fixed dental radiology system
• IDEXX system with ProCyte, Catalyst, and Urinalysis machines
• Two Heska analyzers for urine and fecal testing
• Spacious surgery suite with Bovie cautery and laser equipment
• Isoflurane and Sevoflurane anesthesia machines

Our clinic is in west San Antonio – an fast-growing area that is vibrant and diverse. From new shopping centers and big-name stores to local favorites that have been here for decades, you’ll find everything from quick bites and coffee runs to sit-down dining and retail therapy just minutes away. With Lackland Air Force Base nearby, the area also has a strong military presence that adds to its welcoming and community-focused atmosphere. 
Our Veterinarians:
• Develop a relationship with our clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible. 
• Treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort. 
• Stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment. 
• Collaborate and function as a team within the hospital.
• Help to continue developing the support team. 
• Treat every client like family and each patient like their own pet.
We’re looking for:
• Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
• Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
• Proficient in general medicine and surgery 
• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
• Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
• Active Veterinary State License 
• USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
