Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst – F/A-18 (4710)

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our F/A-18 team in San Antonio, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
• Apply change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
• Apply Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain
• Coordinate with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers
• Incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan
• Coordinate part number attributes
• Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system
• Release and maintain orders
• Document and resolve order delinquencies
• Report schedule adherence issues
• Apply developed solutions to inventory plans
• Analyze and disposition excess and obsolete inventories
• Create schedules for products and services
• Coordinate and support process improvements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management
• 1+ years of experience with GOLD
• 1+ years of warehouse inventory experience
• Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 1+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
• 1+ years of experience reading and understanding technical publications to include drawings, schematics, work instructions: (Engineering Information Delivery (EID), Reference Engineering Data Automated Retrieval Systems (REDARS)
• Experience with US military supply systems
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
