Position Overview Boeing India Engineering is currently looking for Associate Structural and Payload System Design Engineer - Automation to join Design Methods team in Chennai , India. You would be part of a global team working on providing Design Automation solutions to a wide range of Boeing products and services across the world. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization. Position Responsibilities: This role is a synergy of design engineering and software development. Your duties will include (but are not limited to): Proficient in conceptual, preliminary and detailed design including 2D drawings and 3D deliverables. Develop, test, debug, and document CAD/CAM software. Developing and implementing software solutions to meet real-time test requirements. You will work in a general direction as part of an agile development team. Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly. Ability to develop new and innovative applications as well as maintain existing code. Strong decision making and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-motivated, flexible and creative. Manages development, test and production activities and coordinates with Commodity Teams to optimize the design and achieve program goals. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): A bachelor’s degree in or higher engineering is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION. 5+ years of experience using ENOVIA, CATIA, PDM Basic understanding of engineering fundamentals, focused on Aircraft Interiors/component design and materials. Proficient in developing CATIA Macros Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): A bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical/Computer Science) Working knowledge – HTML5, CSS3, Python, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX. Django Framework knowledge is an added advantage. Familiar on CATIA CAA (Component Application Architecture), RADE (Rapid Application Development Environment), PyCATIA Familiar with Visual Studio. Familiar with GitLab for source control management Familiar with Azure DevOps, Azure/AWS cloud. Visa Sponsorship: Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
