Overview

We're looking for a welcoming and kindhearted sleep-enthusiast to lead our San Francisco store! In this role, you’ll be responsible for implementing and piloting processes to ensure the store meets its financial and customer experience goals, and lead hiring for the store team.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and develop your team: Directly manage Sales Associates and Sales Leads by setting clear goals, providing regular coaching and feedback, and fostering career growth through ongoing development and performance reviews.

• Drive daily operations: Oversee store operations with a high level of autonomy, ensuring efficiency, accountability, and seamless execution of day-to-day priorities.

• Deliver business results: Leverage KPIs, sales trends, and customer feedback to inform decisions that elevate store performance and achieve financial and experience goals.

• Champion our service model: Ensure every team member consistently applies the SLEEP Selling & Service Model to create exceptional customer experiences.

• Own key operations: Maintain inventory accuracy, oversee promotional execution, and manage expenses and labor to optimize store profitability.

• Create memorable experiences: Support and co-lead store events and activations that connect with the community and bring the Brooklinen brand to life.

• Foster culture and collaboration: Model inclusive, transparent communication while building a positive, high-performance team environment.

We're looking for someone with:

• 3+ years of management experience in retail store environments (including owning business performance, interviewing/recruiting, training, and coaching)

• Prior experience working in (or managing) the front and back of house - strong mix of customer-facing and operational capabilities

• Someone who is friendly, positive, and truly passionate about the Brooklinen brand and story

• Knowledge and/or passion for interior design and helping customers style their homes

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekend shifts

Compensation & Benefits

At Brooklinen, our goal is to offer a competitive total compensation package which we determine based on specific market data taking into account our company size, stage, industry, and location. The base salary range for this role is between $65K - $75K based on experience level.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in a quarterly bonus program with a target % based on your role.

Beyond base compensation and bonus, we contribute significantly to offset the cost of health benefits, provide a financial stipend to help with the costs associated with the fertility journey, offer a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbor Match, have commuter benefits, and provide a quarterly product allowance.

We also have 14 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all new parents, and a one-month paid sabbatical at your 5th anniversary.
