Description about our GFM practice

Our banking and finance practice is ranked Band 1 global-wide and have more Band 1 rankings than any other law firms on Chambers Global. From our Australian offices in Sydney and Perth, we specialise in complex cross border financings and 'first of a kind' mandates with many of our matters being nominated for awards. We offer comprehensive services to borrowers, advisers, and other intermediaries on the full spectrum of financial products across multiple sectors.

We are looking for a dynamic lawyer to join our Global Financial Markets practice in Perth.

Key Requirements:

• Ideally 2 - 4 PQE (UK notional), commonwealth qualified
• Demonstrated expertise in transactional work within one or more of the following areas: general banking, infrastructure/project finance, leveraged finance, restructuring, asset finance, or structured finance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across jurisdictions, providing clients with global perspective, local knowledge, and up-to-date industry insights.
• Strong academic credentials and a track record of delivering high-quality legal advice, supported by an excellent reputation within the sector and advanced transactional and management capabilities.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, high-performing team, with a history of working alongside specialists from various practice areas.
• Proactive approach to business development, client relationship management, and broader commercial initiatives.
• Dedication to ongoing professional growth, with enthusiasm for mentoring and supporting colleagues seeking your guidance and leadership.
