The successful candidate will support the security design engineering team across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by producing high quality security designs in Revit, AutoCAD and other CAD design software.
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the production of technical security design drawings and models in Revit and AutoCad, supporting the EMEA region
• Carrying out clash detections of Revit models and coordinating solutions to any clashes found
• Attend virtual project BIM coordination meetings for projects across EMEA and be able to communicate clearly and confidently to resolve technical issues
• Develop and own the departmental BIM and CAD standards
• Produce 3D renderings and CGIs of proposed security solutions
• Produce drawings and output to the highest standard
• Work closely with other members of the team to deliver projects, in a timely manner and add value to the final outputs
Requirements:
• Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with 5+ years' experience in an architecture or MEP engineering practice
• Must be capable across disciplines, but primarily M&E building services and architecture
• Experience of clash detection/resolution process using both Navisworks and Revit
• Familiar with BIM, use of Common Data Environments and QA systems
• Able to produce 3D renders and graphics
• Ability to liaise and coordinate with clients, Architects and all other members of the Design Team
• Knowledge of Cobie Data applicable to MEP/ security drawings
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Other CAD software preferable
