About the Team
The Performance Excellence team is redefining how DoorDash measures quality—moving from manual sampling to intelligent systems that evaluate every customer interaction. Our vision is to build an automated QA program that scales across every part of the business, including high-impact domains like Fraud, Integrity, and Risk. We build systems that surface actionable insights, improve performance, and protect the customer experience.
About the Role
As an Associate, QA Platform & Analytics, you will play a critical role in managing and evolving our QA platforms (e.g., AutoQA, ObserveAI) while driving the analytics that power decision-making across Customer Experience. This role sits at the intersection of platform operations, data analytics, and emerging ML-enabled QA systems. You will be responsible for ensuring our QA tools operate effectively, insights are accurate and actionable, and stakeholders have visibility into performance at the lowest level of detail. You’ll partner closely with Product, Analytics, Machine Learning, and Operations teams to optimize QA systems, build scalable reporting, and support the rollout of new automated quality signals. You’ll report to the Associate Manager, Quality Data Infrastructure & Platform Management within the Customer Experience organization
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Own QA platform operations and performance
• Manage day-to-day performance of QA platforms (e.g., ObserveAI, AutoQA systems)
• Monitor signal health (precision, false positives, coverage) and identify gaps
• Partner with Product/ML to improve system performance and reliability
Build and scale QA analytics & reporting
• Develop dashboards and reporting (Sigma, SQL) to track QA performance, adoption, and impact
• Analyze large-scale interaction data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
• Enable stakeholders (Ops, Vendor, PxS) with clear, actionable insights
Drive data-informed QA strategy
• Translate business problems into structured analyses and hypotheses
• Support development and validation of new QA signals (e.g., sentiment, resolution, adherence)
• Contribute to roadmap planning with data-backed recommendations
Support ML-enabled QA systems
• Partner with ML and Product teams to evaluate model outputs and performance
• Assist in testing, calibration, and rollout of automated QA signals
• Help define success metrics and guardrails for production deployment
Improve operational workflows and scalability
• Build frameworks, documentation, and processes to support platform adoption
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual QA effort and increase coverage
• Ensure QA insights are embedded into coaching, scorecards, and business processes
We’re excited about you because…
• You have 1–4 years of experience in analytics, strategy & operations, program management, or a related field
• You have strong SQL skills and experience working with data tools (e.g., Sigma, Mode, Looker, etc.)
• You are comfortable working with large datasets to generate insights and drive decisions
• You have experience supporting or operating technical platforms or tools in a business environment
• You are a structured thinker who can break down ambiguous problems and operate at the lowest level of detail
• You are a clear communicator who can translate data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple workstreams with precision
Nice to have:
• Exposure to machine learning or AI-powered tools (e.g., LLMs, NLP systems, AutoQA platforms)
• Experience working with customer support data, QA programs, or operational performance metrics
• Familiarity with experimentation, model evaluation, or data validation methodologies
We expect this position to be filled by 5/31/26.
