About Position / Position Summary

The BCA Business Success, Manufacturing & Quality team is currently looking for one Java developer to join their team in Bangalore, India.

The M&Q product team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include development and integration for a variety of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and in-house software applications supporting our engineering/manufacturing teams. Job requires working within an inclusive team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.

Position Responsibilities:

• Understands and develops software solutions to meet end user's requirements. Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools. Develops algorithms, data and process models, plans interfaces and writes interface control documents for use in construction of solutions of moderate complexity.
• Job requires the ability to work well with others on a team as well as independently. Job requires working within an Inclusive team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results.
• Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
• Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Hands on experience in Java/J2EE applications
• Candidates should have experience with Angular, Bootstrap, Node.Js etc.
• Working knowledge of Pipeline/Build tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, Veracode, Sonar
• Candidates with experience in ALM tools (GitLab, TFS, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (TANZU)).
• Knowledge about Oracle/MS SQL
• Strong knowledge of Struts, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
• Experience building distributed / service oriented / micro service-style and cloud-based architecture
• Working exposure with Agile (Scrum & XP) and DevOps is a must

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Knowledge about other programming languages like Python, JavaScript, etc. is preferred.
• Hands on experience as a Module lead.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 4 Plus years' related work experience or master’s degree with 3+ years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
