Job Summary
The Associate Producer is a versatile role that combines creative video production expertise with guest coordination and management. This position is responsible for producing, editing, and polishing high-quality video content for multiple TCT programs while simultaneously sourcing, scheduling, coordinating, and supporting guests to deliver a smooth and positive program experience. The Associate Producer plays a vital role in creating engaging, ministry-focused programming for TCT Today, Ask The Pastor, Dorinda Show, Frankly Speaking, New Creation Woman, Book of the Month Club, and other productions, contributing to the overall creative vision and ministry impact of the network.
Essential Functions
Guest Coordinator / Booking of talent for Programs
Assembly & dispersion of program Runsheets
Provide Bios and guest information for Host
Gather show elements (graphics, b-roll, features)
Preparing/operating teleprompter scripts for host
Produce live show managing segment/show timers
Keeps guests updated prior, during, and after the show
Communicate Timing of elements on screen
Communicate with host during show via IFB
Establish remote connection with guests via Quicklink Remote System
Communicate with remote guests prior, during and after segment
Other Duties
Production plan and crew needs
Backup other producer positions
Performs other Duties as Assigned
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in media production or a related field preferred.
Church or Ministry Experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Strong computer skills, switchboard operation, copier machine use, keyboarding, and Administrative practices.
Excellent planning and organizational, and time management abilities.
Exceptional leadership, problem solving, and team management skills. Must be responsible.
Self-motivation, work under stress, results oriented, and teamwork. Also, must have analytical/critical thinking skills.
Motor Vehicle Operation
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in oral and written formats.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
Decision-making abilities and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion and integrity/ethics.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Ability to stand, sit, stoop, pull, kneel, talk, and hear as needed for the role.
Use hands/fingers for operation of equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, carry, and reach.
Occasional travel and outdoor conditions may be required based on production needs, reach, pull, and push.
Ability to be in a confined area
